What we do.
We design the lifestyle we live.
LUMBER+Salt's design business is under the Mazur&Co. banner, founded by co-owners John Mazur and Brooke Cantone. We create one-of-a-kind environments by reclaiming found objects, repurposing unique material and reimagining interiors and exteriors in a whole new way.
Mazur & Cantone are the designers behind several signature East End projects, including: Rose Hill Vineyards, Terra Vite Vineyards, Harbes Vineyards, Main & Mill House, Anker, Minnow at the Galley Ho, The Hidden JEM, The Watershed, Shippys & Red Horse Market
Who we are.
John Mazur, served as Principle + Designer of an industrial + graphic design firm in Soho, specializing in branding for brick and mortar retail companies. John studied at RIT majoring in industrial and graphic design and spent his post-grad years working in Germany at an international branding agency.
Brooke Cantone, held senior creative corporate roles in NYC in Fashion, Visual Merchandising, Marketing & Brand Experience since 1998. Brooke graduated from the Philadelphia College of Textiles & Science with a BA in Fashion Merchandising.

LUMBER+Salt embodies a shared aesthetic, drawing from both their collective experiences in retail, industrial design, fashion, art, and antiques to create a lifestyle brand rooted in visual storytelling.
